We made it to the Cliffs of Moher, but it was super foggy. Our guide told us to hang out in the visitor's center and peek out every 20 minutes. Apparently the fog blows in and out all the time.
After a while we ventured out.
A cute old man playing a penny whistle.
And there they are!
Artsy - really I was just trying the different settings on our camera..haha. Still trying to figure it out!
On our way up.
The other side. That's O'Brien's Tower over there.
Fog coming back in.
A boat way down in the water (the Atlantic).
I had no desire to get close to the edge.
My cutie boys.
We were running low on time, but Trent, Jen, Amy, and Amber hurried up the other side.
I guess this is a pretty typical picture while you're there..haha.
In fact, I got these 2 mugs as souvenirs (too bad you can't see the whole things - they're really cute). It's kind of a joke that no matter when you go, it'll be super windy and/or rainy.
Headed back to the bus.
More cottages with fun colored doors :)
We stopped for lunch at a pub. We were parked in a little alley and I noticed these 2 cats hanging out.
Didn't get any pictures at lunch.
We drove for a little bit and then got to get out for a while by the gorgeous Atlantic.
Some cute wildflowers growing in the rocks.
More wildflowers.
Look at little Aiden :)
Amy did a little photo shoot for us ;)
Trent finally made his way down. There was a girl on our bus living abroad in Holland so they had a nice chat.
So windy!
Noticed this little snail on the way back to the bus.
Cows in the front yard.
Do you see the little dog in the driveway?
Some brave souls swimming in the brisk water!
How often do you see cows grazing 100 feet from the ocean?! You may also notice the little calf nursing ;)
Trent noticed the texture on this house, so I got a shot :)
Little lighthouse.
I don't know if I'd ever seen a black sheep in person.
Donkey.
We stopped at this little leprechaun house for a few minutes and there just happened to be a leprechaun there for photos ;)
Thatched roofs.
We stopped for a little bit at Corcomroe Abbey.
Aiden loved any chance he got to get off the bus :)
One more stop (well longer one, there was a final quick one later at a gas station, but none of us got off).
Cute little town.
Cute cafe on our way out.
And the rest of these photos are on our way back to Dublin.
Saw lots of sheep on our way back!
Last picture of the day. I figured I'd taken enough! In reality, the battery finally died ;)
It was a great, picturesque (don't know if you could tell ;)) day! We were all pretty exhausted by the end though, so it was good to get back to our apartment.
Such a wonderful pictures! What a charming place. I love your hair in the humidity. I hope Aiden will remember some of it
