We did a lot from the middle to end of October that I need to get updated on!
Jill flew down for a few days during her Fall Break. She actually flew down on the 17th, Trent's 29th birthday! Tanis invited us all over to celebrate :) I had asked her to make her carrot cake for Trent (he loves it) and she gladly accepted ;) Thank you Tanis, it was a fun night!
Tanis and Kent got Trent a new messenger bag for work from J.Crew. He loves it! Pretty snazzy!
Bummed I didn't think to get a picture of the whole group :/
Saturday Jill asked if my dad would take us to see/ride the horses he works with. Of course he'll never turn down that opportunity ;)
Loved this horse. So pretty.
I think Aiden was most excited about the tractor :)
Amber and Mom brushing this horse before Dad sattled her up.
We got to finally meet Pat and Tracy. They are just the nicest people. And they have a fabulous backyard. Aiden was loving everything about it, including their swing set :)
Picture overload. Everyone wanted a picture riding with Aiden. It was actually his first time! We all just rode around in the ring for a little bit.
Amber led all of us around. She's the best with horses besides my dad. You'd think we'd all know a little better since we went to a dude ranch a few years ago (HERE), but no..haha.
Aiden and Daddy.
Aiden and Mommy ;)
Amber and Dad riding out in the field.
Trent rode for a bit as well.
Mom is trying to get the hang of riding horses so that she can hang out with Dad more ;) What a good wife :) Dad's pretty psyched about it!
Pat and Tracy's daughter breeds miniature schnauzers so they had like 5 puppies in the backyard. Aiden was so cute with them and kept hugging and petting them! I wish I got more pictures! Seriously made me consider getting him a puppy sooner than later. I guess we're having a baby though ;)
Pat got the carriage out and all hooked up and took us all for a ride. It was really nice and there was a great breeze :)
Mom, Dad, and Jill took a turn after us.
We were all cracking up over how Dad was carrying Aiden around. So cute!
Later that evening we went to Mother Nature's Pumpkin Patch. It was really catered to kids so it was fun to have Aiden. My only complaint about this pumpkin patch was the lighting. There wasn't enough. They had a bunch of farm animals, but we couldn't see them because there wasn't any lighting. Although maybe they did that on the purpose - so the animals could rest. Next year we'll have to go during the day.
Aiden was fascinated by some baby chicks they had.
Aiden got a little pumpkin of his own with his admission.
There was a separate area with all of the little pumpkins.
From Mom's iPhone.
We all got to go on a hayride with him.
These pictures always crack me up! Aiden and Aunt Jill.
Love that he was peeking over at Jill trying to figure out what to do ;)
With Daddy now :)
There were a few little houses around. Aiden loved that they were his size!
An Aiden-sized hay maze :)
Lucky boy got to see another tractor!
Haha, what a dork ;)
Final sit on the tractor before we headed out.
I think Aiden couldn't believe how much we spent outside this day. He was in heaven! It was fun to have Jill in town. See you at Christmas!
Love all the photos! so fun to look at.
